Although at first it seems like a self-centered and hilariously arrogant thing to say, Kamina might have an excellent point.
As hard as we may try, its extremely difficult to believe in ourselves. We know ourselves better than anyone else. We know exactly why we would fail, if we did. We know all our faults, our mistakes, everything that we try to hide from the world.
And then we have our friends, family, co-workers… others who believe in us. Who look at us and insist we can do the impossible. Who know we will succeed even when we don’t.
Many times we look at these people and roll our eyes. If they only knew what we knew. If they only knew how we felt, what limitations we have, everything we went through. If they only…
